Hypertension and epistaxis a co-relation

Introduction: Epistaxis is the most common otorhinolaryngological emergency. Whether there an association relationship between epistaxis and hypertension a subject of longstanding controversy. Objective: The aim our study to evaluate hypertension. Materials methods: This was conducted at,U.P during period June 2016 January 2017. A total 40 patients were divided into two groups: Group consisted 20 who presented with epistaxis, B served as control group. Twenty-four-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) performed for all patients. Patients followed up months. Results: Readings (BP) similar groups regarding BP at presentation, ABPM, There higher number attacks in history highly significant positive correlation readings.
